and passion and love .... Thank you.
Hello Michele,
Happy holidays, late, to you and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2010.
In digging through old photos before Christmas, I happened to run across the attached photo of Uri that I took at a company employee outing in 1976. He seems happy, listening to a speaker, perhaps Dr. Franz, and he has his camera and associated gadgets that were needed in those days. Uri and I enjoyed debating cameras, I was a Nikon fan and I recall him being a Canon fan.
I hope you enjoy the photo.
Regards Ken

Meadow Ridge is located in the historic town of Redding, Connecticut high on a ridge with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Our 136-acre site of rolling hills, natural woodlands, and open meadows is complemented by our stately architecture. We combine the best of Connecticut country living with proximity to the larger cities of Fairfield County, New Haven, and New York.
Our parents loved the grounds of Meadowridge - a tranquil, expansive and comforting landscape for the eye and soul to behold.

Meadowridge’s exquisite Atrium - a serene and peaceful place for ponder, a wonderful place for afternoon tea, bridge or gala parties ... The Atrium, with plants, streams, water falls, fish and skylights. Tea, coffee, fruit and muffins were often available in the Atrium. Our mother loved spending time with us in the Atrium.
Meadowridge’s auditorium - home to Friday night movies, concerts and other types of performances, and celebrations. Our father ran the Friday night movies for many years. Our father’s memorial service was held in the Auditorium.
Below are pictures of the building and grounds around the building our father last lived in. The photo with the sculpture in the forefront, shows the porch of our father’s apartment in the background. Just behind the sculpture off to the left are two trees - between the trees in the background is a row of porches; the top porch is the one to our father’s apartment.
Many other special features of Meadowridge are not captured here - the tennis courts, the magnificent views, the resident vegetable gardens and so on. Our parents loved Meadowridge’s spacious apartments and beautiful grounds. Although our mother was unable to avail herself of the cultural activities due to her Alzheimer’s and our father due to his commitment to care for her prior to his decline, they were grateful for the breadth of cultural activities offered to Meadowridge’s residents.
